On August 15, 2025, the thematic sharing event titled "Escorting Enterprises' Global Expansion: Breaking through and Responding to Cross-Border Transaction Barriers" was successfully held at Qingdao Nongshang Fortune Building. Guided by the Shandong Lawyers Association and Shandong Arbitration Association, the event was co-hosted by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Justice, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Qingdao Sub-Council, Qingdao Arbitration Commission, and Qingdao Lawyers Association, and co-organized by Beijing DHH (Qingdao) Law Firm and other professional institutions. The event was hosted by Zhang Meiping, Vice President of the Qingdao Lawyers Association and Director of Beijing DHH (Qingdao) Law Firm.
The event specially invited Mr. Yang Liangyi as the keynote speaker. Mr. Yang currently serves as a member of the Expert Committee of the International Commercial Court of the Supreme People's Court of China, Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, member of the International Advisory Board of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, and Chairman of the Shanghai International Arbitration Institute. He previously held positions including Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Arbitration Group, Hong Kong Representative of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (Paris, France), and Vice Chairman of the Documentary Committee of the Baltic International Maritime Council (Copenhagen, Denmark). Mr. Yang focused on analyzing the key topic of "the impact of unilateral sanctions on international arbitration" and systematically sorted out the various restrictive and hidden risks and challenges faced by Chinese enterprises in participating in international arbitration under common law, with content directly addressing the pain points and difficulties in current international arbitration practice.
