DHH Study Tour Group Visits London for In-depth Professional Exchanges to Expand International Legal Cooperation

  From 27 to 31 August 2025, a 15-member study tour group from Beijing DHH Law Firm visited London, UK, for an in-depth exchange program aimed at exploring legal service cooperation between China and the UK. The delegation was led by Dr. LIU Kejiang, Managing Partner and President, and JI Cheng, Managing Partner and Executive President. Members included Senior Equity Partners LIN Qian, JI Bing, LIU Junli, JIANG Bo, LU Yang, CHENG Xuelin, ZHANG Meiping, ZHAO Ying, REN Li, CHEN Yanhong, YI Yan, WU Yanzhen, and practicing lawyer YU Tingting, representing the Firm's Beijing, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Hangzhou offices. The visit focused on key areas such as cross-border dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration, aiming to enhance the firm's professional service capabilities through on-site exchanges and lay a solid foundation for expanding international legal cooperation.

  The DHH study tour group conducted multiple exchange activities: visiting the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) to discuss international commercial arbitration practice; holding dialogues with the century-old law firm Howard Kennedy to discuss business collaboration; calling on the Law Society of England and Wales to gain an in-depth understanding of the UK solicitor practice system; communicating with the legal market rating agency Chambers and Partners to gain insights into legal market rating criteria; collaborating with Mishcon de Reya to focus on key topics in cross-border asset recovery; and visiting 3PB Chambers to explore the work of UK Barristers.

  Additionally, the group visited the UK Houses of Parliament and the Royal Courts of Justice, further experiencing the historical heritage and modern development of British law from the perspectives of legislative and judicial institutions.

  This London visit was an important step in DHH's ongoing promotion of its internationalization strategy and deep participation in global legal exchanges. Through a series of high-level, in-depth exchanges and dialogues, DHH has not only enhanced its professional capabilities in fields such as international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution but has also opened a new chapter for serving Chinese and international clients in handling complex cross-border legal matters and engaging in broader international cooperation.
