Lawyer WANG Haijun was Invited to Attend 2024 H2 Meeting of ICC China Comission on Trade and Investment Policy

On February 27th, Lawyer WANG Haijun, Senior Equity Partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm, as expert member of the Ecoterms Working Group under the ICC China Commission on Trade and Investment Policy, was invited to attend the 2024 Second Half Working Meeting of ICC China Commission on Trade and Investment. The meeting gathered global trade and investment experts to discuss future developments and outline a detailed work plan for 2025.


In 2025, the commission plans to further strengthen its cooperation with the ICC and promote the active participation of China's business community in the formulation of global trade rules. Lawyer WANG Haijun stated that he will continue to contribute to the development of relevant international rules by leveraging his expertise in environmental and international trade law, while also providing legal support to Chinese enterprises in navigating the complexities of the global trade environment.

As long-term legal counsel to the China International Development Cooperation Agency, Lawyer WANG Haijun has developed a profound understanding of the importance of the Global Development Initiative (GDI) through his legal work. The core objectives of the GDI are highly aligned with those of the ICC's rule-making efforts—both committed to advancing global sustainable development, especially in areas such as climate change, environmental protection, and the digital economy. Lawyer WANG stated that he will continue to actively participate in the Commission's work, drawing on his practical experience and professional expertise to enhance China's influence in the formulation of international rules, support Chinese enterprises in showcasing their strengths on the global stage, and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
